VPS Evidence Drive
Terms of Service
1. Purpose
VPS Evidence Drive ("the Application") is a privately operated utility designed to transfer, store, retrieve, and verify selected evidence files between a VPS and the owner's Google Drive account.
The Application is intended for private infrastructure and research administration.
2. Availability
The Application is not offered as a public service.
Publication of this informational website does not grant visitors access to the Application, its VPS, Google Drive storage, or administrative functions.
The operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Application at any time.
3. Authorized Use
The Application may be used only with the permission of its operator and the authorization of the relevant Google account owner.
It must not be used to access data without authorization or to violate applicable laws or third-party service conditions.
4. Google Drive Integration
The Application uses Google OAuth authorization and the Google Drive API.
Its access is limited to the permissions granted through the applicable OAuth scope.
Users may revoke Google authorization through their Google Account settings.
Google Drive remains subject to Google's own terms, policies, quotas, and service availability.
5. Evidence Management
The operator is responsible for selecting evidence for transfer, determining retention requirements, maintaining appropriate backups, and authorizing deletion.
Successful upload does not, by itself, establish that evidence can be recovered correctly. File restoration and integrity verification are separate operations.
The Application does not guarantee permanent storage or preservation of any particular file.
6. Security and Operational Limitations
The Application is operated using third-party infrastructure and services.
Although security and integrity safeguards may be implemented, interruptions, service failures, configuration errors, and data loss remain possible.
The Application is provided on an "as available" basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
7. Ownership and Intellectual Property
Use of the Application does not transfer ownership of the evidence files it processes.
Ownership and usage rights associated with individual files remain with their respective rights holders.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated to reflect changes in the Application, its operating procedures, or applicable legal requirements.
